In conjunction with the PETRONAS Business Partners Engagement & Collaboration (BPEC) program, Thunder Cranes joined with other oil & gas service providers on a “Mission of Care” initiative to support two local NGOs in Sabah, Malaysia: the TOLUMIS Care Centre and the Wallace Sheltered Centre.

The program was successful in raising donations and providing essential supplies and equipment to support the invaluable work the NGOs are providing in the local community.

The Wallace Sheltered Centre, established in 1996 by the Sabah Society for the Blind, is a training centre dedicated to blind individuals who have completed specific vocational training but are yet to find employment. This centre serves as a vital support system for empowering the blind community in Sabah.

TOLUMIS Care Centre, founded in 1997 by Ching Mee Sapai, offers care to physically and mentally challenged individuals. As of 2024, the centre is home to 14 children and adults who require ongoing care and support.
