Dinesh Arumugam

Chief Executive Officer (TC Intl')

Dinesh Arumugam, as CEO of Thunder Cranes, is responsible for driving the continual evolution of the company - people, products and services - in order to deliver on the company vision and business objectives. Dinesh first joined us as VP of Sales in 2018. He began his career in 1998 with Petronas in the planning & engineering department, before joining Smith International and moving across from engineering & operations into sales management.

Vincent Lo

General Manager (Malaysia)

Vincent Lo has over 38 years of experience the in Oil & Gas Industry. He joined our Malaysia Operating Company in 2018 as a General Manager, and is responsible for managing the operational departments within the country. Vincent began his career with Dowell Schlumberger as a Service Engineer on both land and offshore rigs. In 1993, he joined Sarku-Nowsco as an Area Manager overseeing Rig Cementing and Well Services operations. He continued in this field with BJ Services and then with Baker Hughes as Operations Manager in their Pressure pumping Division. He holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Curtin University of Technology.

Brain Ningkan

HSE Manager (TC Intl')

Brain is responsible for the overall development and effective implementation of the HSE Management System for Thunder Cranes worldwide. Brain has over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry with 20 years in HSE management starting with Shell Malaysia in 1988 before joining PETRONAS in 1989. Within PETRONAS, he served both Malaysia and international operations under Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd, Group HSE Division and MLNG as Operations Supervisor, Production Programmer, Pipeline Engineer, Safety Engineer, HSE Manager, Crisis Management Manager and Head of Safety & Emergency. He holds a MSc Degree in Emergency Response & Planning, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Graduate Certificate in International Management, and Safety & Health Officer Certificate.

Winnie Wong

Chief Financial Officer (TC Intl')

Winnie has 20 years of experience in the field of Tax, Accounting and Audit. As group CFO since 2010, Winnie oversees the Account and Finance Department and she is responsible for the financial aspects of the Group including cost accounting, fund management, internal controls, compliance on tax and statutory requirements and maintaining the integrity of financial reporting of the Group. Winnie holds a Degree in Accounting & Finance and she is a Certified Practicing Accountant in Australia and a Chartered Accountant and GST Agent registered with the Ministry of Finance in Malaysia. She has completed a Harvard Business School and National University of Singapore & Chicago Booth Executive Programme in Finance.

Finian Chin

Sales Manager (TC Intl')

As Thunder Cranes embarks on rapid expansion to new territories Finian is tasked with a new critical role in spearheading sales across multiple regions. He combines extensive knowledge of offshore rental crane operations with attention to detail and customer-focus to deliver exceptional results for Thunder Cranes and our clients.

Finian began his career with Thunder Cranes Malaysia in 2006, and moved into a sales role in 2009. As the GM of Thunder Cranes Thailand from 2021 to 2024, Finian successfully managed all aspects of the administrative and operational departments within Thunder Cranes. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Middlesex University in partnership with SAE Institute.

David Withers

Chief Operating Officer (TC Intl')

As Chief Operations Officer David's role is to develop Thunder Cranes’ global operations, ensuring quality and delivery of its offshore modular rental crane services across the world. David graduated with an Economics degree from the University of Georgia and joined Thunder Cranes 23 years ago. Since then he has played a pivotal role in our company’s growth, both in Malaysia and abroad where he was responsible for setting up operations in Thailand and the UAE Dubai. Appointed as General Manager for Thunder Cranes Malaysia from 2014 to 2018, he spearheaded the implementation of ISO and helped develop an operation that continues to win praise from our clients.

Fauzy Khamis

Head of Engineering and Maintenance (TC Intl')

Fauzy began his career as an engineer in Thunder Cranes’ Technical Support Department in 2010, and was promoted to Head of Technical Support in 2017. In addition to playing a leading role in the continuous development of our portable crane technology, Fauzy provides technical, maintenance and management support for our offshore crane operations in the form of site inspections, lift planning and support throughout the execution stage. With his many years of experience Fauzy’s understanding of portable, modular cranes is second to none, and until now Fauzy continues to lead from the front as the most hands-on department head we have had the pleasure of working with. Fauzy holds a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka, and is a Graduate Member of the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) and Institute of Engineers Malaysia (IEM).

Paul Dorn

Offshore Equipment Technical Superintendent (TC Intl.)

As Offshore Equipment Technical Superindendent Paul is responsible for the quality of Thunder Cranes' technical delivery offshore. Paul began his career in the offshore crane industry in 1982 as a crane operator, and is among the most experienced technical superintendents in business today. Prior to joining Thunder Cranes in 2001, Paul had worked in the Gulf of Mexico for 18 years, supervising the planning and execution of numerous projects including platform removals, conductor drives, production equipment installation and crane change-outs. Paul provides invaluable technical input for the development each new generation of TC cranes, and in the development of our knowledge and capabilities in lifting solutions offshore.

Amnart Phaesa

General Manager (Thailand)

As the GM at Thunder Cranes Thailand, Amnart's role is to manage the administration and operations of Thunder Cranes within the country. He is responsible for setting and achieving organizational goals, managing budgets, and driving performance improvements. Amnart began his career in 1996 as a crane operator with Typco (now Chevron) before joining Thunder Cranes in 2005. Promoted to Supervisor, then Operations Manager, Anmart has continually demonstrated his commitment to safety, reliability and dependability for both Thunder Cranes and our customers.
